Meet Mitchell
Million Memory Project founder Mitchell Davis has been a lifelong entrepreneur in the publishing and library software industries, founding two distinct and disruptive startups with two successful mergers over the past 25 years.
BookSurge was sold to Amazon.com in 2005 and has become a multi-billion dollar business for Amazon creating both a global on-demand book production infrastructure and becoming the Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) business. KDP is the largest independent publishing service in the world.
BiblioLabs was sold to the global nonprofit LYRASIS in 2021 and it continues to grow quickly as the library industry’s only holistic community engagement software + publishing platform. The tools are helping thousands of libraries around the world create effective community engagement programs that emphasize locally sourced content.
Mitchell has put together a group of colleagues and friends to help him launch and publish an initial set of projects in 2025. If you are interested to be part of our pilot programs you can sign up here.
