Memory Day

Our April 12th Memory Day at Spring Creek Community Center is full but we have two more coming up in Spring Creek on May 10th and July 12th that you can sign-up for below. We will be announcing programs in the Laurel community and Fines Creek soon — so stay tuned.

Participating only takes a little over an hour. You will check in at your appointment time to scan your 5-7 photos and provide our memory day interns with information about the photos. You will then have a guided storytelling session to describe your photos. Spaces are limited.

HOW IT WORKS

• Bring a handful of photos from different stages of your life that are meaningful to you (5-7 is ideal).

• Your photos will be digitized on-site and added to the community archive.

• You’ll have a guided storytelling session where you can share the stories behind your images.

• Your memories may become part of a community published book and an archive documenting the history of our community.

• The whole process only takes one hour. You can set up an appointment online or you can email us to book a spot.
